Local Matters is proud to announce the launch of it's first Facebook application, Go Where?

Local Matters is proud to announce the launch of our first Facebook application. It's called Go Where? and can be found in the third-party applications section on the Facebook social network platform. Go Where? blends Local Matter's location and social publishing technology with Facebook's social platform in a application that is both useful as well as comical and entertaining.

About Local Matters
Founded by MapQuest Founder, Perry Evans, Local Matters has fused together local search and shopping technologies, social tools, deep content, and comprehensive voice and mobile technologies for a modular set of publishing solutions.

About Go Where?
A former owner of The Onion developed this Facebook application.

1. Our application can be used as a real-world internet meet-up utility.
• Users choose what friends they want to invite and then choose a location to send them. We provide the messaging and the map.

2. Our application can also be used for hours of entertainment bliss.
• Users can use it to enjoy the hilarious joke that is sending your friends to goofy, fictitious places. Users also will enjoy the ability to send a public figure to his or her well-deserved place in the world. For example you may send your best Facebook friend to a private love nest . Or you may simply send Britney Spears to a fiery hell, Linsey Lohan to a party in your pants or George Bush on a long walk off a short pier.

Perry Evans’ blog, www.evansink.com has more information on this launch.
