Denver, CO, July 1, 2008 – Local Matters has been awarded a contract from the
Fonecta Group in Finland to integrate its already installed
FlexiQ platform with Fonecta Group’s new IP-based switching platform. The integration is underway and should achieve production status later this year.
“Local Matters’ FlexiQ platform has proven to be an effective solution for our DA agents. As we upgrade to an IP-based switching platform we want to maintain this advanced agent-facing environment to ensure our agents have the resources to offer our customers the highest quality of service,” said Lauri Kangaslahti, director, Fonecta.
The integrated FlexiQ offering, including the
FlexiStation Directory Assistance (DA) services operator workstation will continue to provide Fonecta’s agents with access to advanced customer information and utilizes the
FlexiSearch engine. FlexiSearch is a directory data search engine enabling DA service providers to aggregate, manage and search both traditional and enhanced directory data from multiple sources. The application includes a variety of features designed to optimize high-speed, high-volume environments and support enhanced DA services, such as integrated movie and entertainment listing, driving directions and maps, and traffic conditions.
