Local Matters Announces Robust Search Traffic Management Application
Denver, CO, November 20 2008,  – Local Matters, Inc. announced the release of Traffic Director, a robust solution that enables publishers to broker search engine marketing-based leads to their advertisers. With Traffic Director, publishers can see millions of qualified consumer visits to thousands of SEO-friendly advertiser profile pages while optimizing overall search engine marketing spend.

“Publishers like directories and newspapers are in the business of providing leads to local businesses,” said Kris Skavish, VP of Product Management. “We’re pleased to offer a product that allows online publishers to deliver search-engine leads in a scalable, cost-effective way.”

Key innovations offered by Traffic Director:
•    Publishers will now have a tool that manages and optimizes both organic and paid traffic together allowing monetization of non-paid traffic from distribution partners and organic sources.

•    Traffic Director’s unique multi-listing page displays multiple advertisers on a single page, allowing several advertisers to benefit from a single visit from a paid search user.

•    Publishers can now sell traffic, clicks or leads to their advertisers with a straightforward proposition that simplifies the sales process of complex search engine marketing offerings.

•    Business Self Serve allows publishers and advertisers to add, edit or delete content from any listing field that the publisher permits. This updated content can be searchable in both Destination Search as well as the search engines.

Traffic Director will allow publishers to benefit from the sale of traffic from different sources as well as ease the process of obtaining current, rich business information from advertisers.
